Introspection

Katlyn Hall

In this digital era we tend to base our self-worth off of the things we see on television in the movies, or on various platforms of social media. We see all these "perfect" people in their perfect" lives and it can leave us feeling inadequate. We look in the mirror and we paint an ugly picture of ourselves. It is easy to scrutinize our weaknesses yet we struggle to recognize our strengths. What we don't realize is that these people have problems just like we do. We are better than we think. Each item, each color, and each part of this piece has meaning to me. I hope that you are all able to catch the small nuances, but the beauty of art is that it is left to eye of the beholder!
