The Taylorsville Redwood Garden was the original community garden of SLCC. It was first founded in 2011 located just outside the construction and trades building with a total of 8 planter boxes. Today this has been increased to 48 boxes and almost four times the space. This location also includes a greenhouse that allows for year-round growing, a compost area, two fruit trees, and an outdoor classroom coming soon.
